The Choice Leader of Excellence Micro-credential Certification is designed for school leaders who wish to improve their practice and is aligned to the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL).   The coursework, delivered and evaluated by Bloomboard, consists of eight (8) micro-credentials in the areas of Guiding School-wide Positive Student Conduct, Engaging Families in Support of Student Learning, Selecting and Facilitating Use of Common Instructional Strategies, Adopting a Systems Approach to School Improvement, Developing Distributive Leadership Teams in Support of Student Academic Success, Mission/Vision/Values, as well as two elective areas in either Equity and Cultural Responsiveness, Promoting Professional Learning for Continuous Improvement, or Operations and Management.  All micro-credential courses engage the learner in the Cycle of Inquiry and are job-embedded to maximize application of concepts.   Implementation is required and an assessor with specific educational leadership credentials is provided by Bloomboard .  This is designed to be a self-paced program and expected to conclude in approximately 18-24 months.  Participants will pay for the course and receive 120 in-service points towards recertification in addition to eight (8) Micro-credentials.

This program costs $695. Upon completion of the program,
$100 will be reimbursed to each participant. Payment plans are available. To
